Lernziele

Introduction to results-​oriented planning and monitoring of projects in development cooperation. Based on practical project examples, participants work through key planning steps, from context analysis to project operationalization. Participants learn how to design and implement an M&E system, focusing on outcome monitoring and project reporting and steering.

Inhalte

- Basic concepts of results-​oriented project cycle management (PCM);

- The logical framework approach (LFA) as the standard management tool for project planning, monitoring, reporting, and evaluation;

- Methods and tools needed for project planning, including context analysis (stakeholders and problems analyses), results chain analysis, and the logframe matrix;

- Methods and tools needed for project monitoring, including the development of an M&E system based on indicators for assessing objectives achievement;

- Use of monitoring results for project reporting and steering adjustments
